(More customer reviews)I have this FireWire hub running 24/7 with my Apple MacMini media center / server (no sleep enabled, so it's active all day).There are 10 external FW400 hard drives connected to it (first set of 5 connected directly, the second set of 5 connected to the first set of drives via firewire daisy-chaining).This unit has worked perfectly in this setup.
