(More customer reviews)On a new computer that has a power supply with no molex connectors, there will be no way to power the hard drive nor this adapter without paying separately for a power adapter. It would not have cost very much to add the option of plugging into either sata power or molex power supplies, but this item is limited to plugging into older power supplies that have molex connectors.
Further Notes: Good to see that TrendNet is taking action to correct this issue.
