The brand and model number is verified to be an authorized replacement, and the specs were correct. The item that arrived indeed is the exact brand and model number as listed here with exactly the correct specs. It functions as it should, however it looks a bit different than the photo. In the photo, the end of the cord which plugs into the computer power port has a 90° elbow. The one I received is straight. There are other cosmetic differences, such as the surface of the brick and the location of the indicator light, but these won't affect how I choose to arrange the cables at my desk. The elbow, or lack there of, might. The jack does fit a little more snugly into the power port than my original, but so far that does not seem to be causing problems. When I switch to using the original it still makes good contact. I just hope that after long-term repeated use it doesn't wear down the inner surface and cause my original to fit too loosely. (I've only had this for one week at the time of writing this review.)

My reason for purchasing a second power adapter was so that I could leave one permanently plugged in and not have to crawl behind my desk every time I wanted to take my computer elsewhere for a while. So for me, it's important that both continue to function well. If you're buying this purely as a replacement, then perhaps the snug fit may not be a concern for you.

Note: I did not purchase this directly from Amazon. They were out of stock at the time, so I ordered from one of the Marketplace sellers: [...]. However, since the Brand and Model Number were exactly correct, I would guess that it's just as likely you might see some variation on the actual item you receive regardless of the seller.
