(More customer reviews)Have a Yamaha RX-V2600 amp powering my home theater set-up for several years and recently have been experiencing HDMI intermittent signal loss with an in wall cable run of 30+ feet. Was suggested to me that I needed a booster and after researching on-line landed on this item as a good option. Package arrived in small box with no printed instructions other than pictures on the outside of the box. That should have been my first clue that this may have not been a good quality option. It came with a power adapter and even said on the box that power may or may not be needed but no explanation under what scenarios that would present itself. Plugged it in and watched television throughout the evening with no signal problems. Got up the next morning and there was no signal coming from any of my devices. After checking everything out it was determined that the HDMI switch on my Yamaha receiver was bad. I would not recommend this product due to their lack of manual and instructions unless you like the hit or miss approach that this apparently requires.
