Well, the size of the thing for one.Because of the lack of a dongle on the adapter, using it will likely block neighboring ports on your video card.If you just want to use one old vga monitor with the displayport out on your new video card, you'll be fine.But if you'll still want access to any of the neighboring outputs on your videocard next to the displayport, then you should get something else because this will block them.
