(More customer reviews)I purchased this to hold a hard drive in place of the DVD drive tray. While it fits the spot very well, as expected, it does not come with everything you need to put a hard drive in it. You also need to buy a mount that you attach the hard drive to and the mount then gets securely housed in this adapter. Luckily, I had one from the last laptop adapter and it worked well. But for your average consumer, you may be surprised to know that you actually need more parts prior to getting this to work for you.
