(More customer reviews)I bought this product because I needed to convert a coaxial signal from the dvd player to the input (optical) of the home entertainment system. It does the job transparently as it should and gives you the option of also attaching another device (optical in). I haven't tried attaching another device, or changing configuration as you can via the switch on the side of the device. I do recommend this device if you need it for conversion of a signal as it does a great job.
