(More customer reviews)I had a similar unit that had been working for about the past 8 months and working very well, powering four displays over several cable runs in the 45' range.The unit appeared to take a lightning hit a few weeks ago.When I tried to reorder one from the original supplier, I found they had stopped carrying it due to it not being a money maker for them.I found another unit online with similar specs.I ordered it and only then realized the vendor is in China.When the unit arrived, I connected it with the following results:one tv worked perfectly, one got a picture and lound audio static, one got a picture and no sound and the other, no sound or picture.I found another vendor for a unit with similar specs which happened to be only 17 miles from my house.I bought that unit there and it, unfortunately looked exactly like the replacement unit I had just unsuccessfully installed.Nonetheless, I took it home and tried it.Alas, it had the exact same symptoms on each of the same four tvs.So, I did a lot more searching hoping to find a unit pictured that looked significantly different from the problem units I had just tried.I found this one and took a chance and ordered it.It arrived yesterday, I connected it and, mercifully, it worked immediately and perfectly.So happy to have this one behind me.I may even order a spare for backup in case this should happen again.
