(More customer reviews)here's how it works: when the car's running with no load i get the FULL light, when i turn the car off it goes to MID, and as i run my battery down to where it won't start my car anymore, the light stays only at MID, with no other indication. sure, the LOW will light if you wait longer, but then you're in battery replacement, not mere jump start, territory.
got this model (over one with USB ports but no power metering) to tell me when i was drifting down to the "can't start" range. not once has it helped me in that regard, though it has been fun continually pushing the unit back into the socket since it tends to get weighed down and ease out while driving. moving to a model with no lights and a remote, cabled housing.
